Recorder synchs dual inputs at 200 Ms/s

The 4U rack-mount Model RTS 2703 real-time recorder backs dual 350-MHz-bandwidth sampling channels, each with a 200-Msample/s 16-bit ADC, with up to 2 Tbytes per channel of removable RAID storage. Both channels use the same start, stop, trigger, and clock to ensure that the data sets are fully synchronized.

The instrument also serves as a Windows XP workstation that can connect to a gigabit Enet network for remote access and control. The channels have a spurious-free dynamic range of nearly 90 dB, and data files are recorded in Windows NTFS format. (From $58,995 10 to 12 weeks ARO.)
