Rectifiers come in SOT-223 SMT packages
The BTV40 series of ultra-fast, surface-mount rectifier diodes have
reverse-recovery times below 50 ns at full-rated current and come in
SOT-223 surface-mount packages. This is claimed to be the fastest
reverse-recovery time of any surface-mount rectifier diode available in
this package. The diodes exhibit soft-recovery characteristics, and have
negligible switching losses up to about 250 kHz. Maximum reverse
repetitive peak voltages ratings include 100, 150 and 200 V, and maximum
current is 1.5 A. Forward voltage is less than 1 V at full-rated current.
The principal application of these rectifiers is in switching power
supplies for disk drives, laptop computers, and electronic notebooks
