Regulators operate w/o heat sinks to 60°C

The TSR-1 series 1-A switching regulators are drop-in replacements for 78XX series linear regulators. The series consists of nine models with inputs from 4.75 to 32 Vdc and outputs from 1.5 to 15 Vdc and 1-A output current. It provides efficiency up to 96% and allows full-load operation up to +60C ambient temperature without a heat sink or forced cooling.

The regulators require no external capacitors. The wide input voltage range allows direct operation from a 24-Vdc bus voltage. The efficiency and stand-by power consumption make these regulators suited for battery-powered applications. (5.50 ea/1,000 — available now.)
