Designed to fit the industry standard oscillator footprint of 1.6 x 1.2 x 1.0 mm, the ASCSM miniature MEMS oscillator series is available factory configured for a resonant frequency in the range of 1.00 to 156.25 MHz. Originally launched in 2013, the oscillators are now being fabricated using enhanced production processes that further reduce manufacturing costs.
The devices have an LVCMOS output and a broad operating temperature range of –40ºC to 105ºC, with frequency stability over that range of ±10.0, ±25.0, or ±50.0 ppm. Typical period jitter (rms) is 6.0 ps, with a maximum of 7.0 ps and typical cycle-cycle jitter (rms) is 11.0 ps, with a maximum of 12.0 ps. The bias voltage (Vdd) range is 1.70 to 3.60 V. At 156.25 MHz, with a Vdd of 1.7V the current drain is 6.9 mA; with Vdd of 3.6 V, 9.6 mA.
