Resettable devices in protect auto apps

The PolySwitch AHEF devices provide resettable overcurrent protection for bus and truck wire harnesses using 24-V electrical systems. Hold-current ratings range from 0.50 to 10 A, maximum fault-current rating is 100 A, and maximum operating voltage rating is 32 V.

Maximum operating temperature for all the devices is 125°C, enabling them to be used not only in the passenger compartment but also in the engine compartment. The resettable protection devices feature a through-hole construction and support pick-and-place equipment. ($0.22 to $0.46 ea/10,000 — 8 to 10 weeks ARO.)
