Resistor networks, dividers fit into 4 x 4-mm packages
The DFN series precision thin-film surface-mount resistor networks and dividers are said to be the industry’s first to fit into a 4 x 4-mm dual flat Pb-free package with a 0.65-mm pitch and 1-mm profile. The new package format saves up 53% PCB space compared to traditional 5 x 6-mm SOIC 8-lead packages.
The devices offer ratio tolerances to ±0.05% and stable film and performance characteristics of 500 ppm at 70°C for 2,000 hours. The series offers tight TCR tracking to ±3 and ±5 ppm, respectively, suiting it for unity-gain op amp applications in industrial, telecommunication, military, and test and measurement instrumentation and equipment.
The DFN resistor networks offer values from 100 Ω to 100 kΩ per element, the dividers offer values from 1 kΩ to 100 kΩ with ratios from 2:1 to 100:1. All devices offer power ratings of 50 mW at 70°C per resistor, ≤–30 dB noise, voltage coefficients of 0.1 ppm/V, and a temperature range of –55° to 125°C. The halogen-free devices are qualified to Moisture Sensitivity Level 1 per J-STD-020, with Pb-free or lead terminations, are compliant with RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and flame-resistant in accordance with UL 94V-0.
