RF connectors are industry’s smallest

The SWG series RF switch connectors measure 2.0 x 2.0 x 0.9 mm and are said to be the smallest in the industry. The connectors can test RF signals from dc up to 11 GHz and features high-frequency characteristics, with low insertion loss (1 dB max between dc and 3 GHz, 0.2 dB max between 3 and 6 GHz, 0.5 dB max between 6 and 11 GHz).

The small size of the connectors saves PCB space, and suits them for use in a variety of portable devices, including high-frequency measurement equipment, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, 4G, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and UWB wireless. ($0.35 ea/sample qty — 8 to 10 weeks, starting in Fall 2009.)
