RF connectors include 80 variations

The SMP-MAX Series of symmetrical adapters and RF coaxial interconnect solutions for board-to-board, module-to-module, and panel-to-panel telecom applications has been expanded to include 80 designs to eliminate assembly errors during manufacturing. As a second source, Molex is designing, manufacturing and marketing these connectors for global customers.

The connectors handle a maximum board-to-distance tolerance of up to 2.00-mm gap without a spring. They feature a 3° tilt (radial travel), an operating frequency range of dc to 6 GHz, and a 1.2 max VSWR up to 3 GHz. They handle up to 300 W of power at 2.7 GHz.
