RF power detector operates up to 3.8 GHz

The LT5538 RF power detector provides accurate RF power measurement over the 800 to 900-MHz bands and 1.7 to 2.2-GHz cellular bands, as well as the 2.6- and 3.5-GHz WiMAX bands. The part offers a log-linear dynamic range of 75 dB at 88 MHz and 70 dB at 2.14 GHz.

Additional features include an accuracy and linearity of ±0.8 dB over its rated operating temperature range of −40° to 85°C, and rise and fall times of 100 and 200 ns, respectively. Housed in a 3 x 3-mm DFN package, the detector operates with a single-ended RF input and requires no external RF transformer. (From $4.50 ea/1,000 — available now.)
