RF receiver reads meters automatically

Housed in a 32-lead QFN package, the MLX71122 RF receiver IC is designed for applications in the unlicensed ISM and short-range-devices frequency bands at 300 to 930 MHz addressing multiple bands simply by using software. This multichannel receiver accepts supply voltages from 3 to 5.5 V with a typical current consumption of 11 mA.

The current draw in standby mode is below 50 nA. The receiver input sensitivity is as low as −112 dBm for ASK and −107 dBm for FSK signals. Operating temperature is from −40° to 105°C. ($1.67 ea/100,000 — available now.)
