RF shielded connectors handle up to 18 GHz

An addition to the company’s V-Bite RF edgeboard connector line, the 161VUs504EFT threaded RF connector features a bottom shield to help eliminate inductance by shielding the bottom of the connector. The Type N connector is soldered directly to the pc board’s bottom ground layer, providing superior manufacturing tolerances for excellent and consistent performance through 18 GHz.

Offered in an impedance of 50 Ω, the connector is suited for joining coaxial cables in a broad range of high-power RF applications, including base stations, cellular antennas, RF and microwave components, SATcom, broadcast, personal communications services, surge protection, test and measurement instrumentation, microwave radio, WLAN, and radar.
