RF transceiver SoC suits Zigbee apps

The ZIC2410 series SoC combines a ZigBee-compliant 2.4 to 2.4835-GHz RF transceiver with an 8051-based 8-bit microprocessor. Features include an operating voltage of 1.5 to 3.3 V, an output power of 8 dBm, a receiver sensitivity of 98 dBm, and a link budget of 106 dB.

The SoC also integrates a voice codec, an AES encryption engine, a battery monitor and temperature sensor, an RSSI engine, four 16-bit timers, two PWMs, two UARTs plus SPI interface, a single 16-MHz crystal design, and a single-differential bidirectional antenna interface.
