Specifically tailored for flexible operation from 1 GHz right down to 100 MHz, the CMX991 RF transceiver suites both narrowband and wideband wireless products — up to 2-MHz RF channels — including multimode analog/digital terminals and digital SDR for portable, mobile, and base station designs. Features include an advanced image-reject up-conversion modulation system and a flexible superheterodyne receiver.
The part comes in a 48-pin VQFN package and operates at 3.3 V (1.8 V I/O). A low-IF output mode is supported in the receiver for designers using “sample at IF” techniques. ($10 each — available now.)
