Suited for wireless Zigbee/smart energy applications, the RFX2411 RF front-end IC (RFeIC) integrates the PA, LNA, transmit and receive switching circuitry, the associated matching network, a harmonic filter, and a diversity switch all in a CMOS single-chip device. It is designed for use in 2.4-GHz ISM band and supports the 803.15.4 and ZigBee standard.
Features include a saturated output power up to 21 dBm, an output P1 dB of 19 dBm, a noise figure of 2.5 dB, and a quiescent current of 8 mA. Housed in a 3 x 3 x 0.5-mm QFN package, the RFeIC offers a supply VCC of 2.0 to 3.6 V and a shutdown current of 0.05 µA. (Contact company for pricing — available now.)
