RFID ICs embed 64-bit cryptographic engine

The CryptoRF RFID chips offer a 64-bit embedded cryptographic engine, dual authentication capability, and up to 64 kbits of memory, each with up to 16 individually configurable sectors. The parts integrate a 13.56-MHz radio based on the royalty-free IO 14443-B standard with a range up to 10 cm.

The chips are supported by Skytek’s SkyeModule M2 reader, which supports for industry-standard security, including TDEA and AES encryption and SHA-1, SHA-2, and MD5 hashing as well as proprietary security. (From $0.20 ea/25,000available now.)
