PCIM, the largest power electronics show in Europe occurs from May 18th to 22nd. The conference offers numerous oral and poster sessions as well as seminars and tutorials that provide state-of-the-art application know-how on power electronics, and an exhibition hall with more than 300 booths.
On Sunday, May 18, Dr. Ray Ridley will be presenting a seminar on modern power supply design. The seminar provides a review of where the industry is going today with topologies, technologies, control, and performance levels.
Then, on Monday, May 19, Dr. Ridley will present a tutorial on Advanced Control Design for power supplies. This is an expanded version of the seminar taught to 200 engineers at the IEEE APEC show 2014 in Fort Worth, Texas.
More intensive four-day design lab workshops are also provided by Ridely Engineering on the topic of power supply design. It is held in Altanta, Georgia, USA from June 3 through 6, 2014 as well as in Cambridge, UK from Oct 27 through 30, 2014.
