An XD expansion/deflection coupling for rigid conduit supports movement and thermal expansion in conduit runs, and a flexible and watertight connection. The coupling incorporates an Erickson conduit union that speeds installation and features a durable, protective stainless-steel inner sleeve for wire installation. The coupling accommodates axial or parallel movement up to 3/4 in., and angular movement up to 30° from the normal position.
Coupling features include enclosed, copper ground mounting plates with tamperproof stainless-steel jacket straps and dual-layer hubs made of ductile cast iron, zinc plated and coated with aluminum acrylic paint for corrosion protection. (Contact company for price and availability.)
