An expansion of an existing product line of RJ45 single- and multi-port connectors featuring selective gold plating vs. full gold plating, found no deterioration of durability or performance, but delivered a cost advantage. The low-profile solution RJ45 connectors are available in 1×1 single- port; 1×2, 1×4, 1×6, 1×8 multi-ports; and 2×1, 2×2, 2×3, 2×4, 2×6, 2×8 stacked multi-port versions with shielding for LED selection. They support Category 3 wiring for the transmission of 16-Mbit/s signals in networking and telecommunication equipment.
Designed to GS-12-0990 (multi-port) and GS-12-0947 (single port) standards and UL 94V-0 specifications, as well as being RoHS-compliant, the modular jacks employ a shielded shell for EMI protection. Able to withstand operating temperatures from 40 to 85C, the connectors come in plating options including G/F, 15- and 30-µin. gold plating and also feature optional LED colors.
