RTCs target consumer, telecom, medical applications
The 1337, 1338 and 1339 real-time clocks are designed for use in the consumer, computing, medical, and telecom markets. They offer two programmable time-of-day alarms and a programmable square-wave output for applications requiring calendaring and time functionality.
The product family includes devices that offer extra 56 bytes of non-volatile SRAM. Address and data are transferred serially through an I2 C bus. Additional features include built-in power-sense circuits and packaging options that include an 8-pin MSOP, an 8-pin SOIC, or a 16-pin SOIC. (ea/10,000, from $0.90 to $2.10 — available now.)
