RTOS provides small, fast framework

The ThreadX version 5.2 RTOS provides a small, fast design framework and features such as dynamic event filtering, expanded event trace, SMP enhancement, and a significant reduction in global memory requirements. The new version has been shown to be 13% faster, and boot time is just 300 cycles.

The version has a minimum RAM requirement of just 364 bytes, a tiny footprint ideal for SoC applications. The RTOS’s dynamic event filtering is used with the BenchX Eclipse-based IDE and the TraceX graphical event analysis tool to focus on a particular subset of events for debug.
