A thermoplastic rubber tape combined with a butyl rubber sealant, Fast Splicing Tape Wrap (FSTW) allows for repairing cable jackets, sealing low-voltage splices, and rejacketing of medium-voltage cable splices. The tape also provides a completely submersible watertight seal, features a 50-mil thickness, and protects against puncture.
