The FCN-07J series Gen 2 PCI Express card-edge connectors are designed for high-end servers, supercomputers, and industrial equipment exposed to harsh environmental conditions. The series comes in an 8-lane (98 contacts) and 12-lane (140 contacts) version of vertical-mount press-fit connectors with a patented, split-beam contact design. This design ensures a redundant two-points of contact on the PCB pad that can withstand vibration, shock and temperature changes.
The lead-free RoHS-compliant connector series also features a 1.1-A dc contact rating, a 500-Vac dielectric withstanding voltage, a 50-Vac voltage rating and operating temperatures between –55° to 85°C. ($3.75 ea/10,000 — available now.)
