Ruggedized flash drive enables safe data transfer over UltiMate connector

The Fischer Rugged Flash Drive memory module is mounted in a rugged aluminum casing to provide full protection against extreme environmental conditions. Sealed IP 68/69K even unmated, the USB flash drive is waterproof to 120 m and resistant to temperature extremes (–40° to 85°C). It is protected from shock and vibration damage (withstands a minimum 26 x 1.5-m drop) and has a rugged protection cap. Featuring a signaling and protocol certified high-speed USB 2.0 flash drive, it has a proprietary Fischer circular connector interface.

Miniature (key ring size) and lightweight (only 18 g), it is perfectly adapted for harsh environment applications typical of the defense and security, industrial, underwater, oil and gas or medical sectors. It is suited for UAV, ROV, optronic devices, GPS, sensors, test & measure equipment, and rugged computers. It has a 4-Gbyte capacity with a Fischer UltiMate Original Series connector interface (UP01, size 08, four contacts) and a large selection of body styles, sizes, contact configurations and memory capacities.
