The 4320 4-in-1 electrical safety tester now offers an RS-232 serial interface for direct connection to a PC, so users can quickly and accurately set up the instrument with all test parameters remotely. Further, in compliance with many safety agency rules, all test results can be downloaded to a PC for record keeping.

Menu-driven setup lets manufacturers quickly program and save individual test parameters; the tester offers six memories that provide six steps per memory. Through a single DUT connection, the tester performs the four most common electrical safety tests: ac hipot, dc hipot, insulation resistance, and ground bond. ($3,395 — available now.)
