SATA PHY IP core is fully tested

The SATA PHY IP core provides a completely integrated solution for both SATA host and device applications running at either 1.5- or 3.0-Gbit/s speeds. It is targeted for the TSMC 130-nm low-voltage oxide process and is said to have one of the industry’s smallest footprints—up to five times smaller than competitive solutions.

The IP core has been successfully tested against 16 different device vendors. The IP includes a 256-byte FIFO and supports a synchronous DMA and 20-bit standard PHY interface. (Contact company for pricing—available now.)
