Save the Dates for Darnell’s Power Events

Darnell will be hosting three important events between now and the end of 2012, Darnell’s Power Forum in San Jose, California, The Smart Grid Electronics Forum in Detroit, Michigan and DC Building Power Asia in Shanghai, China. Opportunities are still open for papers, sponsoring and exhibiting at these events. We look forward to seeing you at one or more of these exciting and informative events.

Darnell’s Power Forum (DPF) will be hosted September 19-21. DPF will feature six primary areas of focus: Advanced Components, Digital Power, Energy Harvesting, High-Efficiency Power Conversion, Innovation for the Smart Grid and Portable Power. Within each of these broad areas will be multiple topics and application areas. You can find complete information here: http://dpf.darnell.com/index.php

Darnell’s Smart Grid Electronics Forum (SGEF) will be hosted October 16 & 17. Delegates at the third-annual SGEF will have an opportunity to tour two unique facilities. The Next Energy Technology Demonstration facilities and Nextek Power Systems. A key question to be considered at this year’s SFEG will be: “Are (dc) microgrids the key to the successful development of the smart grid?” You can find complete information here: http://smartgrid.darnell.com/index.php

In December, Darnell’s DC Building Power Asia (DCBPA) will feature a tour of the micro grid labs at General Electric’s Shanghai R&D Center. Darnell’s fourth-annual DCBPA will attract an international audience to Shanghai to discuss high-voltage and low-voltage dc power distribution in buildings and how those new dc-based power architectures will drive increased efficiency, improved sustainability and support the emerging Smart Grid.
