SBC has built-in sound port
The Blue Jay is a single-board computer for embedded-control
applications. Measuring 7.5 x 5 x 0.7 in., the board is based on an 8-MHz
80C188 processor (20 MHz optional) and comes with a built-in sound port.
Sockets are provided for ROM, SRAM, and EEPROM. Other features include a
buffered expansion bus, real-time clock, RS-232/RS-485 serial ports, a
printer port, an LCD interface, and a keypad interface. Also included are
a watchdog timer and power-fail circuit, a processor failure indicator,
and a low-battery detector circuit. Power consumption is 250 mA at 5 V
typ. The Blue Jay can be programmed using the same tools as on a PC and
is object-code compatible with code produced by the Borland and Microsoft
C compilers. The Sunflower C library, a collection of C/C++ functions used
to operate the Blue Jay peripherals, is provided with the board.
