Schottky diodes extend battery life

Helping extend battery life in portable applications, the BAS70SL, BAS40SL, and RB751SL Schottky diodes provide a forward drop (Vf ) of 0.37 mV. The diodes are housed in an ultracompact SOD923 package with a package height of 0.4 mm, which is 50% smaller than comparable diodes in SOD523 packaging.

The diodes use lead-free terminals and have been characterized for moisture sensitivity in accordance with the Pb-free reflow requirements of the joint IPC/JEDEC standard J-STD-020. ($0.04 ea/1,000 samples available now.)
