Scopes speed debug of embedded A, D signals

The 100 to 500-MHz MSO3000 mixed-signal oscilloscope series lets embedded-system designers visualize and analyze analog, digital, and serial signals on one instrument. The scopes provide 16 digital and two or four analog channels, 5-Mpoint record length, and 2.5-Gsample/s analog sample rate.

The instruments’ 16 digital channels are tightly integrated with the user interface, and MagniVu provides acquisition of 10,000 points at up to 8.25 Gsample/s (121.2-ps resolution). A color-coded display (ones in green, zeros in blue) speeds logic-state recognition, and digital waveforms can be grouped and labeled. A limited version of NI LabVIEW SignalExpress is included; upgrade to a standard version is available. (Scopes, from $6,350 to $14,700; standard SignalExpress, $699 — available now.)
