SCSI analyzer is low cost
The SA-10 portable SCSI analyzer locates problem devices and monitors
system activity. The analyzer connects to a single-ended 50-pin interface
and is compatible with SCSI-1 and SCSI-2 devices at up to a 10-Mbyte/s
transfer rate. Front-panel LEDs provide a visual display of ID selection,
command op codes, and accumulated errors. The unit is switch selectable to
enable captures on any one or more active IDs. A trap feature freezes the
SA-10's capture on any detected error. This quickly identifies the
offending device together with its unsuccessful command. Indicators for
bus-free and active-signal help diagnose installation problems. The SA-10
measures 3.60 x 5.75 in. and is powered from an ac adapter. ($279–stock.
