SDI video cable equalizer ups transmission distance
The M21424 3-Gbit/s serial digital interface (SDI) video cable equalizer automatically optimizes its transfer function based on the bit rate and cable length to minimize intersymbol interference jitter caused by the cable. It also removes dc offset components. Fully compliant with the SMPTE standard, the IC is the industry’s only dual coaxial device capable of supporting 2.5-V low-power operation, in addition to legacy 3.3 V.
The 32-pin microleadframe-packaged chip is designed to support data rates between 143 and 2,970 Mbits/s, including SMPTE 292M, 259M, 344M, and 424M. ($27.50 ea/5,000samples available now.)
