Secure 32-bit MCU has 2 Mbytes of flash

The ST33J2M0 secure microcontroller is based on the 32-bit ARM SecurCore SC300 core and features 2 Mbytes of flash plus 50 Kbytes of RAM. The ICs EDES peripheral provides a secure DES (Data Encryption Standard) algorithm implementation, while the NESCRYPT crypto-processor efficiently supports the public key algorithm.

The MCU has a hardware architecture with strong and multiple fault-protection mechanisms covering the CPU, memories, and buses to facilitate highly secure software. The chip also includes embedded Secure Element (eSE), Single Wire Protocol, SIMs for NFC applications, and embedded UICC (Universal Integrated Circuit Card), which are critical to protect transactions for payment applications, IoT consumer devices, and machine-to-machine communications. It comes in wafers or in VQFN and WLCSP packages. Samples available now.
