Secure ARM core targets smart-cards

The SC000 32-bit processor core IP targets smartcard and embedded security applications. The smartcard market was more than 4 billion units in 2009, and is estimated to grow at 10% CAGR over the next five years.

The core is based on the Cortex-M0 and features small die size, low energy, very low cost, and performance necessary for larger keys in security algorithms like 256-bit+AES. The IP has countermeasures against electrical attack, fault injection attacks, and power attacks. (Contact company for high-volume core licence pricing — available now.)
