The AT90SO128 secure microcontroller targets the highest security level for smart objects and systems like e-tokens, femtocells, smart meters, secure data storage, and telehealth. The low-power 8/16-bit RISC architecture IC has 288 Kbytes of ROM, 128 Kbytes of EEPROM, and 12 Kbytes of RAM.
The chip supports all the standard (AES, DES/TDES, RSA, ECC) cryptography algorithms with embedded dedicated accelerators that are compatible with Common Criteria EAL4+ and FIPS140-2 certifications. It has ISO7816, SPI, full-speed USB 2.0, and I2 C interfaces, plus a secured real-time clock so that all applications can be reliably time stamped. ($2.04 ea/100,000 samples available now.)
