Pressure sensor approximates true point measurement
EPI-050 pressure sensors measure both static and dynamic pressure. The
silicon chip-sensing element measures only 0.05 in. (1.2 mm) in diameter,
so small that the sensor takes up to virtually no surface area and
approximates a true point measurement. Three standard mounting
configurations are available to measure pressure over several ranges, from
0 to 2 psi (0 to 0.13 bar) through 0 to 300 psi (0 to 20 bar) with outputs
as high as 125 mV and resonant frequencies to 1.7 MHz. The operating
temperatures range is -40 degrees to 250 degreesF (-40 degrees to 121
degreesC). A variety of barrel-shaped and threaded probes are available
with and without protective screens, as are custom options. Paddle-shaped
units as thin as 0.02 in. (0.5 mm) are available for surface mounting.
