Sensors allow 360° cable, connect orienting

Endevco model 7251A series piezoelectric accelerometers are lightweight (10.5 grams) and hermetically sealed, with a centrally located through-bolt mounting hole to allow 360° orientation of both cable and connector. The mounting arrangement lets the sensor offer a flat mounting surface even when it’s not fully perpendicular, which eases its use in various applications.

Available standard in sensitivity ranges from 10 to 500 mV/G and in optional high-temperature (to 150°C) and TEDS versions, the sensors have an internal hybrid signal conditioner as well as an annular-shear piezoelectric sensing element. The system transmits its low-impedance voltage output through its constant-current power cable. Units are supplied with a 10-ft cable, isolated mounting screw, and installation wrench.
