Sensors differentiate between colors
SA1K series true-color mark sensors distinguish between various shades of
the same color as well as between differing hues. The sensors can
recognize one color or a precise combination of colors. Sensor programming
is accomplished simply by pressing a color-preset button to store the
reference target color in memory. The sensor features npn or pnp outputs
and adjustable response times. The output can be programmed to accept a
match or to reject a mismatch. The SA1K operates over a temperature range
from -10 degrees to 40 degreesC, and requires a 12-Vdc power source.
