Serial EEPROMs come in very small packages

Eleven I2 C serial EEPROM devices feature 1-, 2-, 4-, 32-, 64-, and 128-Kbit capacities and small packages. The 24AAxxx and 24LCxxx ICs come in ultrasmall 2 x 2-mm SC-70 and 3 x 3-mm SOT-23 packages and, even smaller, WLCSP wafer-scale packages.

The chips have 1-mA active current and 1-μA standby current, typical. They have a 400-kHz max clock frequency and operate a various voltages between 1.8 and 5.5 V. (From $0.19 to $0.65 ea/10,000 — 24AA04/24AA64 WLCSP devices samples available April; all others prod qty. available now.)
