Server cabinets are designed for heavy loading

Measuring 2,000 (h) x 1,200 (d) x 800 or 600-mm (w), Schroff  Varistar server cabinets from Pentair are designed to offer superior protection for heavyweight applications. Units are tested to 2,000 kg static and dynamic load using incrementally increased loads and inspected for deformation ( not to exceed 5 mm) at five points of the cabinet rack and the 19-in. plane over a period of 72 hours. Employing the industry-standard 25% safety tolerance, static load is specified at 1,600 kg.

High load-carrying capability is achieved with integrated cross beams.  Holes spaced 25 mm apart in the cross beams let users to adjust the 19-in. plane forward or backward in the cabinet to provide appropriate room in front for cabling. Options include off-the-shelf expansion and accessory parts to aid in dynamic loading and allow easy movement of the server cabinet once it has been partially or fully loaded. Vibration-damped pallets are used to ease transportation of the cabinets.
