Session Border Controllers

Session Border Controllers (SBCs) are designed to provide security and interworking based upon established policies for traffic entering and exiting a network. In service provider networks there is normally an access SBC and a peering network SBC. SBCs are now taking on a larger role in the enterprise environment as well.
