SFP+ transceivers handle 10 or 1 Gbit/s

The 10/1-Gbit/s dual-rate AFCT-701SDDZ 10GBASE-Long Range single-mode and AFBR-703SDDZ 10GBASE-Short Range multimode SPF+ fiber transceivers target enterprise and data center applications. The Halogen-free and IEC 61249-2-21 compliant devices dual-rate operation allows flexibility through hardware or software control.

AFCT-701SDDZ LR transceiver is for single-mode fiber at up to 10 km and complies with IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-LR standards. The AFBR-703SDDZ SR transceiver is for OM3 multimode fiber-link applications at up to 300 m. (Ea/10: AFCT-701SDDZ $380; AFBR-703SDDZ $250 — available now.)
