Shock logger has 3-axis accelerometer built in
Powered by a user-replaceable 9-V lithium battery, the stand-alone OM-CP-TSR101 shock data logger has a built in three-axis MEMS accelerometer. Different models of the 3.5 x 4.4 x 1.0-in., 12-oz device cover ranges of ±5, ±50, ±100, or ±250 g with 15 user-selectable reading rates ranging from 0.976 ms to 1 s.
The logger can record ~349,000 measurements/axis, including user-set pre-trigger readings, in its nonvolatile solid-state memory. The device links to a PC’s COM or USB port to start/stop logging (with or without user-set delay) as well as data downloading at rates to 115.2 kbits/s. Cable/Windows-software sets are optional.
