The multipurpose self-fusing Silicone Rubber Insulating Tape meets MIL-I-46852C, and creates an air-tight, water-tight bond within three minutes of application. Once cured, the protected area can withstand exposure to solvents, UV rays, salt water, ozone, and temperatures ranging from –49° to 480°F.
The nongummy tape is applied by spiral wrapping any shape wire, tube, or electrical component. The tape is available in five thicknesses, two widths, and either rectangular or delta shapes to accommodate most application requirements. (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
