Priced for under a buck,the TS7003 A/D converter is a single-supply, single-channel, 12-bit, 300 ksamples/s serial-output part. It combines a 10-MHz track-and-hold, SPI interface and an internal +2.5 V, 30 ppm/°C reference — all fitting into a tiny 3 x 3 mm TDFN package.

The part is suitable for PCB-space-conscious, low-power, remote-sensor and data-acquisition applications because of its low power, ease of use, and small package footprint. Additional features include a low conversion-mode supply current of 0.95 mA at 300 ksamples/s and a low supply current in shutdownof 0.2 µA. The part also offers a PI/QSPI/MICROWIRE 3-wire serial-interface. ($0.95 ea/1,000 — available now)
