Single-wire cable trumps coax

Designed for direct compatibility with mold cavity pressure sensors and force transducers, the company’s single-wire cable technology is claimed to offer design and performance advantages over traditional coax cables within plastics injection-molding applications.

Single-wire cable trumps coax

The cables transmit an electrical charge with required shielding provided by the injection mold allowing simplified mold installation via a small cross-sectional area 0.9 mm in diameter. Cables and connectors are both completely integrated into the mold. Single-wire cabling is also fully field-repairable and exchangeable and may be cut to desired lengths.
