The RE 30 DC motor uses precious metal brushes for low resistance and constant contact over its entire service life. The motor has a rated torque of 53 mNm at 1.35 A (12 V model) and it features a low start-up voltage, even after a long period in standstill.
The 30 mm diameter motor body length is 68 mm and supply voltage is 6, 9, 12, or 18 V. Nominal speed is 2420 rpm and no-load current is 20.8 ma at 2870 rpm. Stall torque is 342 mNm at 8.58 A and efficiency is a high as 90%. The motors rotor inertia is 33.1 gcm². Cost is $250 in production qty, and $693 in single qty.
