Small 8-bit MCUs are low cost

The C8051T60x MCU family incorporates up to 8 kbytes of OTP memory, 256 bytes of RAM, a PWM, timers, an SMBus interface, and a UART. The small 3 x 3-mm QFN11-packaged chip also has an optional 10-bit 500-ksample/s A/D converter.

The 25-MIPS part has an internal 24.5 MHz oscillator with ±2% accuracy, uses 5 mA typ at 25 MHz, and has an on-chip LDO regulator for the core supply. ($0.45 ea/10,000available now.)
