Small connectors send TC readings wirelessly
MWTC series wireless thermocouple connectors are 76 x 25.4 x 13-mm battery-powered units that transmit temperature readings, battery status, and signal strength to a MWTC-REC1 USB receiver up to 90 m away over ISM 868 or 915-MHz bands. The USB receiver accepts signals from multiple connectors.
Available in standard J, K, T, E, R, S, B, C, or N versions with built-in linearization and cold-junction compensation, the FCC and CE-certified transmitters use low-power operation and a sleep mode to provide battery life of one year at a 1-sample/min rate and 25°C. PC software for logging, chart recording, and real-time reading display is included, as are a thermocouple sensor and 3.6-V lithium battery. (Connectors, $79; receivers, $116 — available now.)
