Small current transducer handles 400 A rms

Just 2.2-in. high, the LA 306-S panel-mounted current transducer uses closed-loop Hall-effect technology to measure currents to 400 A rms at 70°C and to 300 A rms at 85°C. The unit, which accepts bus bars to 0.51 x 1.18 in., has a dc to 50-kHz bandwidth and overall accuracy better than 0.7% at the primary nominal rms current.

Typical linearity error is ±0.1% at nominal current and max offset temperature drift is 500 μA from 40 to 85C . The CE-marked transducer has no insertion losses, a ‹1-µs response time, complies with EN50178 and UL94-V0, and comes standard with 2,000 turns (3,000, 4,000 or 5,000 turns optional) and Molex 5045 plugs (70543 optional).
