The EC 8 2-W 8-mm brushless dc motor offers continuous torque up to 0.95 mNm, nominal speed up to 80,000 rpm, and an efficiency rating of 70%. The motor was produced according to the rigid medical standard ISO 13485 and fits a variety of applications such as sampling robotics, portable analyzers, metering systems, and instrumentation.

The motor is available with or without Hall sensors and with 6-, 12-, or 24-V windings. It can be combined with a planetary gearhead. ($100 — available now.)
